The main aim of Starfish is to establish a unique and exclusive beach holiday destination and second home that offers an unparalleled retail experience in Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s pristine coastal and forested landscapes. Nestled near the resplendent Starfish Beach, also known as Bai Sao Beach, this endeavour is an ode to nature’s finest offerings.

The project covers an area of 58 hectares. It requires the integration of residential, retail, and hospitality aspects into a lush sanctuary that honours and enhances the site’s natural beauty.
Creating a destination that provides a unique experience requires strategic planning – leveraging the island’s contours and adapting the design to the local climate and cultural context.

One of the project’s most significant challenges was its steep topography terrain and dense brief and program. It required careful balancing with preserving the existing ecosystem and mature trees. The development must maximise efficiency with convenient accessibility for the public and residents, considering the site’s terrains.
Moreover, the luxury residential zones needed to be exclusive and optimised with Phu Quoc Island’s best views and vistas without an overly segregated feel. Future residents should have convenient access to the amenities and commercial programs. Fostering a sense of community and appeal would be vital with resident-only experiences.
